Message the host for price & availability. - Firewood available for sale onsite for $18 per cubby 🪵 - The following amenities of the Split Rock Resort are accessible to you on a paid basis: H20 water park, arcade, bowling, cinema, restaurants. 💦🎳🍿🍽️ - Sand Spring Lake in nearby Hickory Run State Park has an amazing, free public lake beach with top reviews. It is a 22 minute drive and has a large beach and seasonal amenities (restrooms & snack bar), making it a solid choice for most groups. 🏖️ - Lake Harmony is a private lake and you will not have full access to the small beach at Lake Harmony. You can access Lake Harmony if you rent watercraft from one of the local operators (we recommend Yeti Watersports). 🛶🚤🚣‍♀️ - Please report any accidental damage as soon as it occurs. - Lake Harmony is on the edge of a forest and black bears are active in the area. It’s very unlikely you will see them. But if so, do not feed them. Do not leave food or trash outside, especially overnight. Clean the grill each time after you use it. Remove the grease drip tray and put it in the inside trash. Do not pour grease in the back yard. Your leftovers are their tasty snack. Black bears just want to be left alone, but you need to respect their size, so do not approach them. 🐻 - The TVs do not have cable TV or streaming subscriptions. Most popular streaming apps are already downloaded - simply bring your own login details. 📺 - The Peloton bike does not have Peloton membership subscription. Bring your own membership subscription. If you don’t have one and just want to try out Peloton then there are 2 pre-loaded sample classes. Alternatively, check the Peloton website for free trials available from time to time. Or you can "Just Ride" – track your metrics without joining a class. The Bike has Peloton shoes size 45 (they are large - equivalent to men’s size 11 and women’s size >13). Don’t forget to pack your own shoes if you have them.🚴‍♀️ - The games room is in the garage and is heated using a ceiling-mounted forced fan 6.5kw heater - The house is in the mountains, at an elevation of 1,850 feet above sea level. On average it will be ~7 degrees cooler than Philly or NYC ⛰️

House Rules

- **NO FIREWORKS**. Fireworks are prohibited in Kidder Township. The local police actively enforce this rule and impose fines of up to $1,000, which will be charged to the payment method of the Primary Renter. 🚫 - Minimum age for Primary Renter is 23, who must be staying at the house. Photo ID may be required upon check-in. 🪪 - Strictly NO SMOKING indoors. If you smoke indoors you will be charged $500 smoking cleaning fee and asked to leave immediately. Smoking is okay on the front deck & back yard - cigarette urns are provided. 🚭 - The cleaning fee covers normal cleaning only (wiping surfaces, mopping floors, vacuuming, laundry, changing beds). An extra cleaning fee may be charged if the housekeeping crew finds an unreasonable mess (e.g. dirty dishes in sink, items strewn around the house, garbage instructions not followed, mess on the floor etc.). A dishwasher is provided for your convenience: there is a $20 additional cleaning fee for dirty dishes left in the kitchen. - Leave your bagged trash in the 2 trash cans in the mudroom. All trash must be bagged. The garbage truck will not pick up unbagged trash. There is a $50 clean-up fee for leaving unbagged trash. - No candles, slime or confetti. - No events. - No guests are allowed at the house in addition to those on the original booking - including day guests - this is for insurance reasons. - If you use the Weber propane grill outside, please clean it after use. The cleaning fee for the house does not include cleaning the grill. An additional fee may apply if the grill is left dirty after use. - Don’t move furniture. If you must move furniture then please put it back before check-out (extra charge may apply if cleaners need to move heavy furniture). - Don’t move the pool table - $400 professional realignment charge. - Township rules prohibit loud noise, especially between 11pm-7am. - Most important - HAVE FUN! Because these rules are explained clearly, our guests have very few issues. 😊😊😊

The house is spacious with a beautiful layout, making it perfect for a large group. It offers great privacy, and the host is very kind and approachable, which made our stay even more enjoyable. If you’re planning to cook frequently, the only downside is that the kitchen water pressure is quite low and the gas stove heat is not very strong, this is an area that could do some improvement. Overall, we had an excellent experience and would happily stay again.

Nice get-away in the Pocanos. The place was very close to the mountains. We loved the wood burning fireplace in the kitchen area. The sauna was nice, but took a little bit of playing and planning to get heated up. It did eventually get to ~170 and was nice. Its worth noting that we stayed during a bitterly cold (-4 degree) weekend so that made it diffifult to keep everything (sauna and game room) warm! The hosts were very responsive! Overall we really enjoyed the place.

We love staying at Vanesa’s place. Great gathering house for family and friends with the best game room and sauna. Really close to the ski resort. Vanesa was responding to any concerns that we had and took care of them right away.

We had a great time MLK weekend! The house was perfect for both kids and adults. The location was amazing. A 5 minutes drive to Jack Frost and close to stores and restaurants. Vanessa was super responsive and directions for the house were clear. We look forward to another trip!

We had an amazing stay at Vanessa’s place! Vanessa and TJ were extremely communicative and made everything smooth from check-in to check-out. The house was very clean and looked exactly like the pictures, no surprises at all. It’s located in a quiet, peaceful area, which was perfect for our group. We stayed with a group of 11 and had plenty of space. Everyone had a great time, especially enjoying the game room. The kitchen was well stocked, and we really appreciated the variety of seasonings available, it made cooking for a large group so much easier. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and we would definitely stay here again.
